Party Like A Rock Star

Wow, so this is a post about probably one of my favorite parts of Collegefest 2007. As most my friends and family knows I am a huge music fan and love to listen to all types of music. Most of the artists playing at collegefest I had never heard of except for whom they saved for the last to end the day “Shop Boyz”. Before I got into Boston I had already known that The Shop Boyz would be performing and singing their hit Party Like A Rock Star but I had no idea what I was in for!
You know how I received a yellow press pass? Well this means I was allowed backstage access to everything (more on that tomorrow) and as soon as the Shop Boyz arrived at the convention center Justin was on top of it. I felt like royalty since I would say I was 1 of less than a dozen to get a shot with them.

As if that wasn’t enough being the chatter box I am I went over and joined in their conversation!! Justin Chelf and the Shop Boyz talking I couldn’t believe it.. and Travis from payperpost got it on video so I am sure I will be uploading that once he gets it to me. And I can say I was the ONLY one to get to actual have a conversation with them. The First thing I asked them after saying my hello and I am Justin was the first thing that popped into my head, “Who is your favorite artist of all time?” I was kind of surprised at the moment but they all agreed that T.I. was their pick. After we hung out for a minute before they had to rush off and perform they were awesome and hooked me up with some limited edition “Rockstar” wristbands. I thanked them and was ready for the concert because I was certain I truly was Partying Like a Rock Star today!!
